Paleo nut free chocolate granola made with just five ingredients and no dehydrator needed!
Ingredients

- 1 cup sunflower seeds
- 1.5 cups dates
- 2 tablespoons cacao
- 3 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 250 degrees and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Add sunflower seeds and dates to a food processor with an S blade.
- Turn on food processor and process until you reach desired consistency of granola. I like it just a little bigger than beach sand, which takes about a minute.
- Add in the remaining ingredients and process until blended. It should be a little chunky here.
- Spread mixture evenly onto parchment paper. Add to oven and bake for 20 minutes. Then using a fork, stir the granola around a bit and bake for another 30 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and set on a wire rack to cool for 15-20 minutes. Store in an airtight container, like a mason jar.
Notes
Delicious on its own, or in a bowl with your favorite milk and fresh fruit.
Would also be great on vanilla ice cream!
